The Beginnings
This story kicked off in North Carolina, thanks to a lucky swipe on Coffee Meets Bagel. At the time, Nick was gearing up for an adventure in Hawaii before starting a new job, and Myra was just diving into the whirlwind of her MBA. Despite the miles (and time zones!), their daily chats quickly became the best part of the day—bonding over a shared love of outdoor adventures and great food.

But as things got real, one big question remained: would their animals get along?

Sólheimajökull glacier hike, Iceland
Moose and Kevin’s first meet-cute? Let’s call it a solid C+ despite Kevin's best efforts. Playdates were closer to stare-offs. Still, Nick and Kevin remained hopeful—after all, great relationships take time.
Fast forward nearly three years, after a road trip from Durham to Hingham, a month alone with the grandparents, and countless shared treats in their new cozy Boston apartment, Moose and Kevin are co-existing! Sure, Moose occasionally earns a time-out (some habits die hard), but peace is somewhat restored...with plenty of couch cuddles and snack negotiations along the way.
